The LPY10J Ultra High Energy Pulsed Q-switched Nd:YAG Lasers with extended capabilities.
The LPY10J laser systems offer 10J Q-switched output energies from a proven design platform. The self-supporting Invar frame has been utilised in industrial and scientific applications where robustness and stability are paramount.
The modular design lends itself to several standard configurations of laser all using the same underlying laser components. An optional seeder can provide a narrow linewidth output. Optional harmonic generation units can provide output up to the 4th harmonic.
Other options available include automated moving mirrors to select different output wavelengths, energy monitoring and automatic output peaking.

LPY TEM00
High Energy, True TEM00 Laser Systems Giving Near Diffraction Limited Beam Divergence
High energy true TEM00 outputs are obtained by means of an intra-cavity aperture behind the telescope within a stable telescopic resonator. The output beams from such systems typically have divergences that are within 15% of the diffraction limit. These systems therefore have output beams that are super-Gaussian in both the near field and far field.

INJECTION SEEDED LASERS
LPY Series of Pulsed Nd:YAG Lasers – Superior Performance Through Superior Design
All lasers from the LPY series can be fitted with an injection seeder to provide true SLM operation.
The Single Longitudinal Mode (SLM) output is actively controlled by a piezo drive to the rear cavity mirror to ensure long term stability of the output.
The seeder itself is mounted within the laser head on the ultra-stable Invar frame and is optically decoupled by two Faraday isolators for optical stability.
A choice is offered of seeding either super-Gaussian coupled resonators or true TEM00 resonators depending upon the application.
With the highly modular Invar structure of the LPY series it is also possible to seed a twin-head laser system from one seeder yielding two mutually coherent pulses. Output energies of up to 10J and repetition rates of up to 200Hz are available.
