The Litron’s Nano Series – Small in size, big in performance.
A family of compact and rugged Q-switched lasers suited to a multitude of applications including mask repair, LIBS, LIDAR, PIV, pump sources and spectroscopy.
The Nano series of pulsed Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers have been designed to satisfy the demands of customers today. With industry leading performance in every respect, and unsurpassed design and build quality, the Nano series sets the new benchmark for laser systems today.

NANO DPSS
Pulsed DPSS Q-switched Nd:YAG Lasers
The Nano DPSS series comprises a set of fully diode pumped Q-switched pulsed Nd:YAG lasers with output energies up to 150mJ and repetition rates of up to 300Hz.
All harmonics are automatically angle-tuned with high precision linear actuators, making Litron’s unique mechanical angle-tuning much faster than traditional thermal tuning.
This feature has the option of single, on-demand tuning or continuous automatic
tracking of the crystals for guaranteed long-term stability. Additionally, harmonic generation crystals are thermally stabilised to better than 0.1°C.

NANO S
Ultra Compact Pulsed Nd:YAG Lasers
Ultra compact and rugged Q-switched pulsed Nd:YAG lasers, for industrial and scientific applications. Energies available up to 150mJ at 1064nm and repetition rates up to 50Hz. Harmonics available up to 213nm.
The Nano S is one of the smallest laser systems of its type in the world. It is a fully featured laser offering up to 150mJ per pulse at 1064nm for models with stable resonator and up to 150mJ at 1064nm for models with super-Gaussian coupled resonator. Its robust design is based around a monolithic resonator machined from a single piece of aluminium fitted with ultra-stable mirror mounts and a robust stainless steel pump housing with close coupled ceramic reflectors for optimal beam quality and reliability.
For industrial applications power supplies with IGBT switching are offered. These give rise to a higher efficiency and a long lamp lifetime, typically greater than 100 million shots. The power supply and integrated cooler is available as either a stand-alone unit or as a 19” rackmount unit.
With high Q-switched pulse energies and optional 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th harmonic generation, this is an extremely versatile system ideal for general laboratory applications or demanding industrial use.

NANO L
Compact and Rugged Q-switched Pulsed Nd:YAG Lasers
The Nano L laser opens up new applications with its compact size and superior performance. The laser can be run at pulse repetition rates of up to 100Hz making it extremely useful in imaging applications. The strong construction through elegant design lends itself to use in demanding industrial applications. With a monolithic resonator housing machined out of solid aluminium, ultra-stable mirror mounts and a stainless steel pump-housing with close couple ceramic reflectors, beam quality is achieved through build quality.
The Nano L can be configured with either a stable or super-Gaussian coupled resonator. An intra-cavity aperture can also be fitted to give a true TEM00 output. The laser can be run at pulse repetition rates of up to 100Hz making it extremely useful in imaging applications and material processing applications alike.
Through the addition of modular ‘bolt-on’ modules, the full range of harmonics to the fifth can be realised.
For industrial applications power supplies with IGBT switching are offered. These give rise to a higher efficiency and a long lamp lifetime, typically greater than 100 million shots. The power supply and integrated cooler is available as either a stand-alone unit or as a 19” rackmount unit.

NANO T
Compact and Rugged Lasers with Stable Telescopic Resonators Giving Low Divergence Beams with High Spatial Homogeneity
The Nano T inherits all of the features of the Nano L combined with the option of having a stable telescopic resonator. This resonator configuration produces a beam with a very low beam divergence.
This is a way of producing a low-divergence beam where the spatial beam profile does not exhibit localised very high peak powers such as those produced in the near field from Gaussian resonators. All this comes from a laser head with a footprint of 500mm x 96mm.

BERNOULLI LIBS
Small, Light, Versatile Double Pulse LIBS Laser
Bernoulli LIBS is a compact and rugged pulsed Nd:YAG laser. With energies up to 250mJ at 1064nm and repetition rates up to 30Hz, the Bernoulli LIBS contains two laser oscillators that are combined onto a single beam axis in a single head.
The lasers are fitted with low divergence optics to ensure high focusability and make it highly suited to LIBS applications that utilise the double pulse technique. The pulses can be used to reheat the plasma or as a cleaning pulse.
