Spectrophotometer Cells

Rectangular Cells
Rectangular cells are used for most UV/VIS routine analysis. By far the most common type of cell, they have two windows clear and conform to international standard dimension. The 10mm pathlength size should fit most instruments that use rectangular cells.
Standard Rectangular cells are the most commonly cells used. They have two polished windows and a full interior width used in most instruments.

Cylindrical Cells
Cylindrical Cells are used where the spectrophotometer has a larger, circular light beam. Starna offers several configurations with pathlengths from 0.01 to 100mm.

Flow Cells
Flow cells are used for measuring samples with continuous flow as in chromatography or production systems. They are also used in sipper systems where individual samples are aspirated into the cell. Flow cells are made in a wide array of designs because each application has a different compromise of sample volume, flow pattern, pathlength and tubing requirements.
