Brilliant B Qswitched Nd:YAG Oscillator

For several years now, Quantel’s Brilliant has set a standard for Nd:YAG pulsed lasers. Over a thousand Brilliants have been sold, which proves how easy this laser system is to use, and how reliable and flexible it is in environments as different as industrial workshops, mobile laboratories, helicopters and research laboratories across the world.The Brilliant B SLM New Option consists of a single frequency diode pumped Nd :doped laser with faraday isolator coupled into a fibre, a power supply (1U high) and an electronic feedback loop with piezo electric ceramic mounted mirror. The seed beam is injected into the Brilliant B oscillator by the side of the laser body.

Brilliant Qswitched Nd:YAG Oscillator

The latest technological advances have given it even greater stability, complete remote control, active temperature stabilization and, last but certainly not least, a 5th harmonic generator. Brilliant is also a complete line of related products: the Brilliant Eazy and Brilliant B (compact oscillators), their harmonic generators, the Twins (double-pulse systems) and the Rainbow (solid-state tunable laser).

   

Brilliant EaZy Qswitched Nd:YAG Oscillator

Brilliant EaZy is a compact, lamp pumped Nd:YAG laser combining a new compact power-supply with the proven Brilliant laser head.The new power-supply/heat exchanger (14kg/ 31lb) occupies half the space of our previous power supply and allows mounting vertically or horizontally. Quick cable disconnects and an easy carrying handle allow the head and power supply to be separated for ease of transport. The coolant reservoir is back lit and will flash to alert the user of a low water condition. Inside, a heating element in the coolant loop actively temperature stabilizes the head and reduces laser warm up time. Just plug into nearly any available wall plug outlet, 90-240VAC, and the Brilliant EaZy is ready for use.The oscillator produces 330mJ @ 1064nm, 5ns, with a high quality beam profile (M2<2). The Brilliant EaZy has excellent energy stability (<2%) and proven field reliability. The Brilliant EaZy features the same harmonic modules and wavelength separation optics as the Brilliant. They couple directly onto the laser head (including the electrical connections) and require no optical realignment.

   

Ultra20/50/100 Qswitched Nd:YAG Oscillators

This laser is well-known for its extremely simple use and maintenance: – Easy to use: Turnkey system requiring no adjustment (100% factory aligned) – Easy to maintain: Changing the flashlamp is as easy as changing a fuse. Furthermore, this laser can be coupled with an optical fiber on request (Fiber Optic Launch Adaptor or FOLA Option) The optical fiber is equipped with an SMA connector for easy disconnection. Standard length is 3 m for a diameter of 1 mm. This option, which permits coupling of energy in an optical fiber, is available on Ultra Nd:YAG pulsed lasers and is designed – like all products in the range – for use in harsh industrial or experimental environments. It is comprised of a sealed, nitrogen-purged module containing a factory-aligned and locked optical coupling system.
