Yasmin High power Qswitched Nd:YAG Laser

In 2001, with industry showing ever greater interest in treating or preparing surfaces with switched solid-state lasers (deflashing, cleaning, deoxydation, marking, etc.), Quantel launched the Yasmin line of nanosecond-pulsed laser systems. Since the materials to be treated are very diverse, Yasmin switched Nd:YAG lasers can emit in the infrared (1064 nm), visible (532 nm) or ultra-violet (355 nm) spectrum. Five models are currently available. A number of systems are already operating successfully 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on production lines.

Laserblast Laser Cleaning

Laser cleaning and Surface Treatments Given industry’s growing interest in solid-state lasers for the treatment or preparation of surfaces (deflashing, cleaning, deoxydation, marking, etc.), Quantel now sells a range of lasers specially designed for surface preparation. The process, based on a photomechanical effect, provides contactless, non-aggressive cleaning with light pulses (no abrasives, sand, chemical products or water). These laser systems offer a wide range of possibilities for treating surfaces and restoring monuments, and provide the only efficient solution that does not damage the support or the environment. A number of systems are already operating successfully 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on production lines.

Centurion Diode Pumped Qswitched Nd:YAG oscillator

Big Sky Laser Product Line The Centurion, based on know-how that Quantel acquired in embedded applications, is the first diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser in the company’s compact oscillator range. It produces up to 40 mJ per 7 ns pulse at 1064 nm, with a repetition frequency of 0 to 100 Hz. It also has excellent energy stability, so it can be used as a pump laser for femtosecond oscillators.
